For consumer-level digital cameras, high-speed burst modes usually take a back seat to large resolution amounts or big LCD screens.

With its latest Exilim models, Casio has moved speed into the front seat.

In March, Casio will begin offering two models of digital cameras that can shoot at up to 30 frames per second: The EX-FS10 and the EX-FC100. Both models also can shoot video at speeds up to 1,000 frames per second.

The EX-FS10, with an expected price of $349, measures only 0.64 inches in thickness and is available in four colors: Blue, gray, red (pictured above), and white. (Compare Prices)

The EX-FC100, with an expected price of $399, is available in gray and white. (Compare Prices) Both cameras offer 9.1 megapixels of resolution.
