According to a recent study from the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), 77% of American households now own at least one digital camera.
The CEA study, called Digital Imaging: A Focus on Sharing, says consumers snapped an average of 72 digital photos at the most recent event they attended, sharing 51% of them.
The study says 65% of consumers are pleased with their photo-sharing options. Options that consumers use to share photos include:
- 55% share by e-mail
- 48% show them on personal computers
- 40% post photos online, at sites such as MySpace, Facebook, Photobucket, and Snapfish (shown above)

That is a very interesting article on sharing your photos. I’ve had a lot of people come up to me recently stating they hold their photos in their computer, and just to have something in their purse to share.
