Macintosh computer users have a new option for making use of geotagging, thanks to support built into the JOBO PhotoGPS geotagger.
JOBO introduced the PhotoGPS, a GPS receiver that fits onto the digital camera's hot shoe, in September, but the company limited its computer support to Windows computers. A geotagger is a device that downloads location and time information from a global positioning satellite, attaching the data to each photo as you download the photo to a computer.
PhotoGPS costs about $175.
