Samsung has announced a new point and shoot digital camera, the TL320, that will offer a few unusual features, giving it an advanced feel and performance level.
The TL320 features a 24mm wide-angle lens with a 5X optical zoom (120mm). Few point-and-shoot models provide such extensive wide-angle lenses, meaning the TL320 should allow you to shoot some interesting-looking photos that will greatly differ from the "cookie-cutter" types of photos most point and shoot cameras produce.
The 3.0-inch LCD on this model features an amazing 460,000 pixels, making it one of the sharpest and brightest you'll find on a point and shoot model. The TL320 also can shoot 720p HD video.
Expect the TL320 to be available in May for an MSRP of $379.99. If Samsung has upgraded the photo quality of this model versus some of its older models, the TL320's feature set will make it worth that price.
