Those digital photographers with an Eye-Fi Card now can sign up to automatically upload photos to a linked Whrrl account. You can stream the photos directly into your current Whrrl stories.
Eye-Fi is a hybrid memory card and Wi-Fi transmitter. You can store photos on the Eye-Fi card and then have them automatically uploaded through a wireless network to your computer or to the Web.
Whrrl, meanwhile, is a social networking site through which you can share images to tell your story. By linking text, photos, and location maps, you can use Whrrl to create a story about everyday occurrences.
Pelago is the company that oversees Whrrl, which is in version 2.0 at the time of this writing.
