Instead of entering infromation about cameras you've lost or found in the comments section of this blog post, go to the link above and enter that information on the "Camera Lost and Found" Web page, so the information can be easier to sort and find. Good luck with finding your lost camera!

Hundreds of people lose their digital cameras every day. Very few people ever have them returned.
If the ten photography travel tips we've listed don't help you find your lost camera -- or avoid losing it in the first place -- there's more potential help available, such as from the Found Cameras and Orphan Pictures Web site.
At the Web site, those who find stray digital cameras are asked to post a few pictures from the camera, along with details about where they found the camera. If you lose your camera, you can check the Web site to see whether any of your photos are posted at the site. If so, you then can make arrangements to have the camera returned.
The site already contains more than a dozen "success" stories about lost cameras reunited with their original owners. As the site grows in popularity, hopefully more owners will find their lost cameras.

Hi All,
We are a young couple who lost our digital camera in Santorini-Greece last thursday (1.4.10).
It is a cannon a-570 silver camera inside a black briefcase.
We had our entire trip photos there.
We beleive we lost it somewhere near the red beach (Akrotiri) or on a taxi cab from there to Imerovigli.
We will highly appreciate if anyone found it.

And we do not know, how, but our CAMCORDER PANASONIC model SDR-H40P/PC disapeared.

My car was broken into on May7, 2010 at Black Lake Elementary School in Olympia, WA. My purse was stolen and in it was my Sony Cyber Shot Digital Camera. In the camera and case are 2 memory cards full of my family pictures. I have two young boys and lost at least 2 years of pictures. Hello, on 12.09.2010 the camera Nikon D5000 was ‘lost’ at St. James Tavern, London. I do not care about camera, please return pictures on the memory stick from this camera as it was our first holidays in Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Vietnam) with children and we have not made copies of these pictures. Hello, I found I MEDION DIGITAL CAMERA 12.9 Mega Pixel, on 20 October 2010 at the castle of KOS island in GREECE.
The camera contains a card with some photos of the family (mother, father, grandmother and grandfather, and two little children about 5 and 2 years old).
