To show off the rugged aspect of the Stylus Tough series of point and shoot digital cameras, Olympus has turned loose some of the most destructive creatures on the Earth: Children.
Obviously, I'm kidding about the "most destructive creatures" description (sort of), but the children in a pair of recently released YouTube videos aren't afraid to put some Stylus Tough cameras through their paces. In one video, the children make ice cream sundaes while using the Olympus cameras, and, by the end, it's tough to tell the difference between the camera's LCD and chocolate sauce. Other videos showcase children using the Stylus Tough cameras at the playground and while fingerpainting.
Through the videos and through my review of the Stylus Tough-8000, I'm convinced these Olympus cameras have proven their toughness. Just a word of warning: Don't watch the videos with your children, or they might try some of these ideas at home, and not every camera can take this kind of abuse! (Compare Prices)
