Casio's EX-H10 Offers Thin Body, Big Zoom
Casio has combined two of its areas of strength as a camera manufacturer -- big zoom lenses and thin camera bodies -- in its Exilim EX-H10 model, recently announced.
The EX-H10 offers a 10X optical zoom lens (24mm-240mm) in a camera that measures only 0.95 inches in thickness. Few ultra compact models can match such a large zoom lens. Casio also included an impressive 12.1 megapixels of resolution with the EX-H10. Another interesting feature is the inclusion of some wide-angle capabilities in this model's lens.
About the only thing Casio neglected was stylish colors: The EX-H10 will only be available in black when it appears on store shelves in mid-July at an MSRP of about $300. The EX-H10 looks like a strong mid-summer model.

thats a very cool looking camera with pretty good resolution…priced at around 350$ is not a bad deal at all…im using it and produces good shots..

where may I buy this camera? i haven’t found it on major online shopping websites yet
12mp on the tiniest of sensors….I expect crappy noisy pictures in all but the very brightest of light. I also hear that the macro function only goes down to 15cm. Probably craptastic, but we’ll have to wait and see.
I’m hearing from Casio PR Manager – Costco at the end of the month. Casio customer service – no information.

However, Casio does not sell through its Web site, and I was unable to find it elsewhere for sale yet, either. I will check with Casio, but my guess is that the release date has simply been delayed a month or two. As soon as I hear something more concrete, I’ll post it here!
I emailed casio about the release of this camera, and this was the response I got…
