The CES has named the Olympus PEN E-P1 camera a 2010 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree. The PEN E-P1 is the first Micro Four Thirds system camera from Olympus.

A panel of independent designers, engineers, and members of the media select the award winners. The PEN E-P1 and the other award winners will be on display during 2010 International CES, Jan. 7-10 in Las Vegas.

The PEN E-P1 is available for purchase now, at a price of about $800-$900 with a starter lens. (Compare Prices) Olympus recently announced the successor to the PEN E-P1, called the PEN E-P2, which will be available in December.
