Memory cards can be tricky too, for instance many cameras do not accept the new large cards (2 gb upwards), some may not record on the HC and extreme SD cards even though designed for SD.

Good point, Raj – there are some potential incompatibilities when purchasing a memory card, but you should have good luck most of the time.
