I recently had a chance to try out the latest camera in the Olympus Stylus Tough family of cameras, the 8010.
My Olympus Stylus Tough 8010 review shows a camera with a nice set of tough features and with a good sturdy feel. However, I was a little disappointed in the 8010's response times and in its image quality. Neither aspect of this camera was poor, but both were a little below average for a camera with a nearly $400 MSRP. (Compare Prices)

Overall, it's a nice camera for those needing its "tough" features for shooting in extreme weather or harsh environmental conditions. Or, if you're naturally clumsy with your digital camera, the Stylus Tough 8010 can survive whatever you throw at it. However, if you don't need its tough features, you can find plenty of cameras with better photography performance at lower price points.
