The Stylus Tough family from Olympus has proven to be a sturdy digital camera line in the past couple of years, and Olympus has expanded the family in 2010, releasing the Stylus Tough 6020.
The Stylus Tough 6020, which should be available for purchase now at a $299.99 MSRP (Compare Prices), is available in four colors: Black, blue, green, and pink. Each camera is trimmed in silver. The Stylus Tough 6020 can survive a drop of 5 feet, can work in up to 16 feet of water, and can operate in 14-degree weather.
With 14 megapixels of resolution, a 5X optical zoom lens, MPEG4 video capabilities, and a 2.7-inch LCD, the Stylus Tough 6020's feature set is pretty good for its price point, even before you consider this camera's "tough" features.
I had a chance to review two Stylus Tough cameras last year, the Stylus Tough 6000 and the Stylus Tough 8000, and I found both to be very solid cameras. I'm looking forward to seeing how the Stylus Tough 6020 measures up against its predecessors.
