If you can't get enough of unusual body colors in digital cameras ... well, Pentax may have figured out a way to make you say, "Enough!"

Pentax Japan and Tower Records in Japan are now offering a "rainbow" version of the Pentax K-x DSLR camera. As you can see here, Pentax didn't miss a color with this camera, combining blue, green, orange, pink, purple, red, white, and yellow. The LCD even displays a rainbow on the screen as you press the power button.

The rainbow K-x retains all of the same strong shooting features that made the K-x a 2010 TIPA award winner.

As of now, Pentax has not announced plans to sell the rainbow K-x in the United States, so you may have to try eBay to find one. For me, I won't be looking to import this model. I'd have a difficult time carrying around an $800 camera that looks like a toy ... or like a child's combination of leftover Play-Doh colors.

Of course, that's just my opinion; the rainbow K-x likely will have plenty of fans. I know this much: There's nothing else like it out there.
