Apple's popular iPad offers dozens of great features, including the ability to work with your digital camera in a variety of ways. Here are some of your options for using the iPad with your digital camera.

  • Flickr Sync. With this Flickr Sync app ($3.99), you can automatically synchronize photos stored on Flickr with your iPad.
  • iPad Camera Connection Kit. The Camera Connection Kit ($29) makes it easy to upload photos to the iPad while you're traveling, either through a USB cable or from an SD memory card. These popular devices can be tough to find, though.
  • iPhone/iPad Camera Combination. With the Camera A and Camera B apps ($0.99 total), you can use your iPhone and iPad in combination for shooting photos.
  • ShutterSnitch. The ShutterSnitch app ($8) allows you to wirelessly transmit photos from either the camera's WiFi capabilities or from an Eye-Fi memory card to the WiFi network that your iPad is accessing.
