Sony's Cyber-shot DSC-TX9 3D digital camera provides what the company calls the world's smallest 3D camera, as it measures only 0.7 inches in thickness.
The TX9 captures 3D images with a single lens system that uses a "sweeping" motion. Images can be viewed on a 3D TV or on the camera's LCD ... at least when you shoot in the proper mode. Sony has included a 3.5-inch, touch-screen, high-resolution LCD with the TX9, on which you can simulate a 3D image by tilting the camera back and forth, when you shoot in the "Sweep Multi Angle" mode.
The TX9's other features include: 12.2 megapixels of resolution, full HD video, and a 4X optical zoom lens. Sony also has included a "Superior Auto" mode, where the camera attempts to decrease the amount of noise in the image as much as possible.
