If you're in the market for a fixed lens (large zoom) camera, you probably already know about one of the biggest problems with these types of cameras: Camera shake. When you have a camera that suffers from camera shake, you'll end up with some blurry photos, and large zoom lens cameras are especially susceptible to this problem.
My Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ40 review shows a model that also has some camera shake issues. However, if you use a tripod with the FZ40, you'll eliminate the camera shake issues and end up with a really nice model.
The FZ40 includes a 24X optical zoom lens, and it has a great mixture of manual control and automatic features. It also has the look and feel of a DSLR camera. To read my full review, just click the link above and see how the FZ40 ranks when compared to other fixed lens cameras.
