
Canon has announced four new PowerShot beginner-level cameras as part of CES 2011.
PowerShot A800. The A800 (MSRP $89.99, pictured here) is an entry-level camera, offering 10 megapixels (MP) of resolution and a 3.3X optical zoom lens.
PowerShot A1200. You can operate the A1200 ($109.99) from two AA batteries. It offers a 4X optical zoom and 12MP of resolution.
PowerShot A2200. Canon included the ability to shoot 720p HD video with the A2200 ($139.99).
PowerShot A3300 IS. The A3300 ($179.99) is the most advanced of these recently announced PowerShot models, offering 16MP and a 5X optical zoom lens.
