Today, Olympus is announcing three new consumer-level cameras in a variety of price points.
- Olympus SZ-10. Look for the SZ-10 (pictured here, MSRP $249.99) to carry an 18X optical zoom lens.
- Olympus VG-110. Beginners will appreciate the $99.99 price of the 12MP VG-110.
- Olympus VR-320. Limited wide angle capabilities, coupled with a 12.5X optical zoom, give the VR-320 ($199.99) plenty of versatility. (In addition, Olympus is announcing a VR-330 model in Europe, and it should be similar to the VR-320.)
All three cameras should be available for purchase beginning in late February. I'll have more details on these point and shoot cameras in my blog during the next few months. Olympus also announced several cameras at CES 2011.
