GE Aims New C1433 Camera at Beginners

GE is aiming its recently announced C1433 digital camera at the budget-priced section of the market, and it carries an MSRP of only $79.99.

For that price, you obviously won't be receiving a lot of top-end features. The C1433, which was announced at CES 2011 and should be available for sale soon, includes a 3X optical zoom lens and 14.1 megapixels of resolution. It includes a small 2.4-inch LCD screen, which is disappointing. Larger LCDs on cameras almost always work better for beginning photographers, in my opinion.

Look for the C1433 to be available in black, silver, or red. This camera does run from two AA batteries, which is handy.
