The latest DIL from Olympus -- the PEN E-PL2 -- offers the same small form factor and interchangeable lens capabilities that have been found with the previous PEN models: E-PL1, E-P1, and E-P2.
The E-PL2 includes a 3.0-inch, high-resolution LCD, 12.3 megapixels of resolution in a high-quality image sensor, and increased ISO sensitivity up to 6400. This camera is compatible with Micro Four Thirds lenses, as well as Four Thirds System lenses, when you use the adapter.
The E-PL2 is now shipping with a starter lens for an MSRP of $599.99. (Compare Prices) It is available in four body colors (black, silver, red, and white), which is nice and really emphasizes the stylish nature of this model.
I had a chance last year to review the E-PL1, and it was a very nice camera that was a lot of fun to use. From the initial information, the E-PL2 looks like it will be very worthy "upgrade" to the E-PL1.
