Large zoom, fixed lens cameras, such as the S2550HD, have become key components in Fujifilm's digital camera lineup.
The company has announced a few additional cameras in 2011 that fit in the ultra zoom category, including the FinePix S2950, which offers an 18X optical zoom lens.
In addition, the S2950 offers 14 megapixels of resolution, a 3.0-inch LCD screen, and 720p HD video capture. You can operate the S2950 from four AA batteries, which is handy.
The S2950 -- called the S2990 in some parts of the world -- is available now in black only for an MSRP of $229.95. (Compare Prices)
