I'm not sure the recently announced "Green Lantern" camera from Pentax will save the world, but it might make a cool prop for you to have while you wait in line to see the movie this summer.
The "super hero" adorned RS1500 digital cameras from Pentax include the Green Lantern, Batman, The Flash, Superman, Wonder Woman, Catwoman, and The Joker. All of the super heroes -- and villains -- will be part of the DC Super Heroes RS1500 collector pack. Each of the characters will be on a camera skin that can be changed, along with a Green Lantern protective case.
Warner Bros., DC Entertainment, and Pentax Europe are partnering to offer the "super cameras," and they'll only be available in Europe initially. Prices and a release date have not yet been officially announced, although the camera may begin appearing next month for about $150.
