Thin cameras with large zoom lenses have been a popular pairing of features in 2011 models. Panasonic has added to these cameras with its Lumix DMC-ZS8 with its 16X optical zoom lens.
The Lumix ZS8 has 14.1MP of resolution, 720p HD video capabilities, and a 3.0-inch LCD screen to go with its 16X optical zoom lens, which includes limited wide angle capabilities.
