Canon's beginner-level PowerShot A3300 cameras provides an interesting mix of high resolution at a low price.
For the first time, Canon has included 720p HD video capabilities in an "A" series camera. The A3300 also includes 16 megapixels of resolution, giving it plenty of resolution for large prints. You'll find a 5X optical zoom lens and a 3-inch LCD as well with this camera.
The A3300 carries an MSRP of $179.99 (Compare Prices), and it is available in five body colors (red, black, blue, silver, and pink).
