The feature film "Captain America: The First Avenger" made use of Canon EOS 5D Mark II DSLR cameras to shoot some of the action scenes in the movie.
The EOS 5D Mark II has been used in a variety of TV shows and movies, including "House," "Saturday Night Live," and "Iron Man 2." The camera's ability to shoot 1080p HD video at 24 frames per second, as well as its strength for point-of-view shots, makes it a good choice for certain types of shots in movies and TV shows.
The EOS 5D Mark II made About.com Cameras' list of the best full frame DSLR cameras, in part because of its strong HD video capabilities.
