For the upcoming holiday season, Olympus is expanding its line of PEN interchangeable lens cameras with the PEN E-P3 and two other upcoming -- and small -- models.

The PEN E-P3 is available this month with an $899.99 MSRP for a camera body with a kit lens. (Compare Prices) The E-P3 builds on the successes of the previous PEN models, including the E-PL1 DIL camera and the E-P1. The PEN E-P2 camera made our list of the best cameras for under $1,000.

The E-P3 (pictured here) has an all-metal design and a 3-inch high-resolution OLED touch screen. It offers 12.3MP of resolution with its CMOS image sensor, and it includes a fast autofocus.

Additionally, Olympus has announced PEN E-PL3 and the PEN E-PM1, both of which are small PEN models. The PL-3 will be sold beginning in September with a kit lens at an MSRP of $699.99, while the price and release date for the E-PM1 aren't yet available. I'll have more details on these cameras closer to their release dates.
