Sony has created one of the smallest and lightest digital interchangeable lens (DIL) cameras on the market with its NEX-C3.
The Sony NEX-C3 weighs only about 8 ounces (without the battery or memory card), making it about 6% lighter than last year's Sony NEX-3 camera.
The NEX-C3 has a CMOS image sensor, allowing it to record up to 16.2 megapixels of resolution. It can shoot 720p HD video, and it offers a 3.0-inch LCD screen.
Sony is selling the NEX-C3 now in pink, silver, or black camera bodies at an MSRP of $600 or $650 (Compare Prices), depending on the kit lens included with the camera. The NEX-C3 can accept any E-mount lens.
