You'll find a six pack of new Nikon Coolpix point and shoot cameras available for sale next month, all of which will be aimed at intermediate photographers. Nikon recently announced initial details about the six cameras, which include:
- Coolpix AW100. This is Nikon's first "tough" point and shoot camera, offering waterproof capabilities (MSRP $379.95).
- Coolpix P7100. The P7100 includes a tiltable 3.0-inch LCD screen (MSRP $499.95, pictured here).
- Coolpix S100. The S100 includes a high-resolution, 3.5-inch touch screen LCD (MSRP $299.95).
- Coolpix S1200pj. Building on past "pj" models, such as the S1100pj, the S1200pj includes a built-in projector (MSRP $429.95).
- Coolpix S6200. The S6200 offers a very thin camera body with a 10X optical zoom lens (MSRP $229.95).
- Coolpix S8200. You'll find top-of-the-line specifications with the S8200, including a 14X optical zoom lens (MSRP $329.95).
Check back with my blog beginning next month, as I'll have more details on all of these cameras once they're appearing on store shelves.
