If you cannot decide between a camcorder and a still image camera this holiday season, consider one of Panasonic's dual cameras, announced earlier this year.
All three cameras can shoot still images and 1080p HD video, and they include a 5X optical zoom lens. All three have a vertical design, making them easy to hold.
- HX-WA10. The WA10 (pictured here) can shoot 16MP still images and can operate in up to 10 feet of water depth. It's available in black, orange, or blue at an MSRP of $349 (Compare Prices).
- HX-DC10. The DC10 can shoot still images at 16 megapixels of resolution with a 3.0-inch LCD. It's available in black at a $279 MSRP (Compare Prices).
- HX-DC1. The DC1 can shoot at 14MP of resolution for still images with a 3.0-inch LCD. It's available in white, pink, or dark gray with an MSRP of $199 (Compare Prices)
