Even though price points for certain milestone digital camera features continue to drop, there still are some cameras that provide surprises. Olympus may have come up with one of those.
The Olympus VR-340, thanks to a recent price drop, can be found for about $129 (Compare Prices). It's one of the few cameras in the market currently to include 16MP of resolution, a 10X optical zoom lens, and a 3.0-inch LCD screen for that price. In fact, it can be tough to find a camera for less than $150 with those features, let alone for less than $130.
The VR-340 is available in black, white, silver, red, or purple camera bodies, and it offers 720p HD video capabilities.
