Some old technologies can find themselves made obsolete by new technologies. Others can find a way to incorporate the new technologies and reinvent themselves, giving themselves new life.
The classic Polaroid Instant Camera has done exactly that, incorporating digital camera technology into its updated design, giving it the ability to create digital photos, while also creating instant prints.
The Polaroid Z340 Instant digital camera is now available for sale at about $300 (Compare Prices), and it allows you to make 3-by-4-inch prints instantly. It can shoot at up to 14MP of resolution, if you'd rather download the photos to your computer. It also includes a 2.7-inch LCD that can stand vertically or fold down.

It would be better if Polaroid bothered to produce the Spectra film for the expensive cameras many of us have sitting in the closet. I won’t be wasting my money on anything made by Polaroid that they may not support after a few years. They really cheated the consumer on the Polaroid film situation, especially if you bought an expensive Spectra camera in the past.
James John is absolutely right. I have the most expensive model
that Polaroid ever produced , as he says, “Just sitting in the cupboard.”
Get with it Polaroid. Produce a film for your past customers.

Hey Polaroid,
We have been left high and dry as there are no more films available !
Well, you’ve made your profits but you will not have our good will !

I bought a polaroid back for a 2 1/4 3 1/4 camera but can never get film for it. I also bought a 35mm Polaroid developing kit for a film they quit making. Instant slides were very useful in teaching photography classes. I also will never buy anything from Polaroid again.
I have 3 of Poloroid SX cameras sitting in closet.
I have 3 Poloroid SX-70′s sitting in my closet.and NO FILM to use, what a shame for Poloroid Co.
Yep I have 3 Polooid SX 70′s in my closet and NO FILM to feed them
