With the drought that has hit much of the United States, autumn figures to arrive a bit earlier than usual this season. The changing colors of the leaves may have a shorter time period than usual because of the lack of moisture, so it's important that you start thinking about ways to enjoy the autumn through photography.

If you're planning a photography trip this autumn for shooting some pictures of the changing colors of the leaves, I've published a fall foliage photography article that can help your photos stand out from the crowd. Just click the link to see the tips, and good luck with your fall foliage photography!

Good tips.

You should also change the times of day you go out and don’t wait for a sunny day. Sometimes overcast days will have better color!

Thanks – and good point on trying different times of day. With the right cloud conditions, you definitely can capture some dramatic photos of foliage with the clouds in the background.
