With some digital cameras, you must download photos to a computer before you can print them. However, more and more newer cameras allow you to print directly from the camera.
With features such as PictBridge, you can print from your camera when it's connected directly to a printer through a USB cable. Or, if your camera has built-in Wi-Fi capabilities, such as the Samsung WB850F pictured here, you can use a printer that's also connected to your Wi-Fi network.

Cloud makes this an option as well. You can interact with your pictures and store them on a cloud service without ever needing a computer and you can print them at a later time if you wish.
