With a 10X optical zoom lens and a fast autofocus mechanism, Panasonic appears to be aiming its Lumix DMC-SZ7 digital camera at beginning-level photographers who are looking to shoot photos of fast moving subjects over a bit of distance, such as at sporting events.
The SZ7 offers 14.1MP of resolution, full HD video recording, and a 3.0-inch high-resolution LCD. The camera's best feature is that 10X zoom lens, though, in a thin camera body, measuring only 0.9 inches.
It's a little odd that a camera maker like Panasonic, which typically offers quite a few different body color option in its point and shoot cameras, chose to only offer the SZ7 in black. It has an MSRP of $179.99. (Compare Prices)
