It isn't often that I select a vertical photo to showcase a digital camera in my blog, but it seems natural for the recently released Nikon Coolpix S01.
This tiny point and shoot camera includes a touch screen and only one Home button on the back. That makes it seem natural to hold the S01 like a cell phone and use it in a vertical manner, as shown here.
The S01 has a 10.1 megapixel CCD image sensor, a 3X optical zoom lens, and 2.5-inch LCD, and it can shoot 720p HD video.
The S01 is really small, measuring only 0.7 inches in thickness and with dimensions of 3.1 by 2.1 inches. Look for this model to be available in silver, red, white, or pink with an MSRP of $179.95. (Compare Prices)
