For manufacturers of thin point and shoot cameras, hitting a couple of numbers has been a goal in 2012: Offering at least a 10X optical zoom at a price point of less than $200.
Panasonic is the latest manufacturer to meet those numbers in its recently released Lumix SZ5.
The SZ5 has a 10X zoom lens and can shoot 720p HD video. It has a 3.0-inch LCD and a 14.1 MP CCD image sensor.
One interesting feature in the Lumix SZ5 is the camera's built-in Wi-Fi, through which you can use your smartphone as a remote control. It's easy to share your photos with social networks with this feature, too.
You'll find the SZ5 for an MSRP of $199.99 (Compare Prices), and it's available in either black or white camera bodies.
