I just had to get a camera repaired had no power. It’s a Canon Powershot G9 and I found out it had a short from some loose screws inside the camera. While I would have liked to have had it back for Christmas, that didn’t happen. The shop I used though was excellent and I can’t stress that enough, they were wonderful. I went with http://www.camerasandparts.com The great thing with them was that since they only work on Canon Powershots they knew my model very well. They did the repair plus the service for the camera and a correction inside the camera so the no power problem doesn’t happen again on my G9. All for $89 with shipping back included, you bet I am happy! The only downfall was they said that I may get it back for Christmas but I actually got it back after Christmas. It was all okay though, they told me upfront that it may not be done in time because of the holiday rush. All in all, they were amazing to get the repair through. Good luck to everyone dealing with a broken digital camera. I take my camera everywhere. Once fixed, life got back to normal again for me.
