Panasonic's latest fixed-lens camera, the FZ200, features a nice mixture of fast response times and a large optical zoom lens.
The FZ200 includes a CMOS image sensor, 12.1MP of resolution, a 24X optical zoom lens, a 3.0-inch high-resolution LCD screen, and 1080p HD video capabilities.
In addition, the FZ200 can start up in about 1 second and can shoot at a burst mode of 12 frames per second. A hot shoe on the top of the FZ200 allows you to add accessories, such as an external flash or a remote shutter.
Look for the FZ200 to be available now in a black camera body at an MSRP of about $600. (Compare Prices)
