With most of the United States caught in the extreme cold of February, it's probable that shooting outdoor photos isn't going to be your first choice of activity. However, if you can brave the cold weather -- and if your camera can, too -- winter photography can yield some beautiful photos.
Unless you have purchased a digital camera that's designed specifically for use in extreme cold, such types of poor weather can be hard on your camera. Some cold weather problems can cause temporary issues for the camera, while others can cause more permanent damage.
