Canon DSLR photographers looking to add wide angle capabilities to their lineup of lenses will be looking to one of the newest lenses from Canon, the EF 24mm F/2.8 IS USM lens.
The EF 28mm F/2.8 is a fixed focal length offering from Canon that is now available for purchase after being introduced late in 2012. Canon considers this lens as an good first ultra wide-angle lens.
The EF 28mm F/2.8 lens has a minimum focusing distance of about 8 inches, and manual focus and autofocus are available. It also offers optical image stabilization. This lens carries an MSRP of $699. (Compare Prices)
