The mega memory card - Why stop shooting and worry about irritating things like where to store your images? Transcend has just released a compact flash memory card with a whopping 8 GB in capacity and an amazing 120X speed, according to Digital Camera Websites.
Aperture, updated - Apple's Aperture software has a 1.01 version, updating some issues with performance and reliability, according to Digital Photography Blog.
Firmware updates - If you have the Canon 5D or 1Dn Mark II, be sure to check out the latest firmware updates, reported by Digital Camera Websites. It fixes some pesky bugs on the cameras. What's firmware, you ask? Well, find out.
Digital camera reviews:
- Kodak EasyShare P880, a digital camera with a 24 - 140 mm equivelant lens.
- Kodak EasyShare P850, a 12x zoom digital camera.
The Carnival of Digital Cameras and Photography will run weekly. To find out more about the carnival (or just what the heck a carnival IS anyway), or to find out how to see your site here or host the carnival on your site, see my main Carnival of Cameras page.
So You Want to Host the Carnival? - I'd love to hear from you! As a carnival, this should really rotate from host site to host site. I'm looking for other digital camera blog sites willing to join the hosting rotation. I can provide you with very simple instructions for writing a carnival entry. You will get great exposure for your site, which will be linked from my carnival page and my main page. If you are interested, e-mail me at cameras@about.com. Include your blog's URL.
