Guide Review - Canon PowerShot A60 Digital Camera
This camera is identical to the A70 with the exception of a slightly smaller digital zoom and about a million fewer pixels. It makes an excellent family camera for those that want to make prints up to 5x7 and retain photo-lab quality. The quality will start to degrade on larger prints. To make prints larger than 5x7, a larger pixel count will be necessary to retain photo-lab quality. This camera is very simple to operate. Mostly it is point & shoot, but with some additional manual controls for the budding artist. Additional controls include manual focus, and some preset scenes.
The brightness and color quality on this camera is exceptional, which is why this camera gets 5 stars. This camera may be a little more expensive than most 2 megapixel cameras, but the image quality is the reason.
