This camera is very similar to the 3100 with the exception that Nikon has made it a little simpler to operate. Another improvement is the memory media. They have changed form the larger CF card to the smaller and more popular SD card.

More scene modes have been added for those that are looking to get the perfect exposure for their photographs. Another nice addition to this camera is sound for the movie mode.

This camera can produce photo-lab quality prints up to 5”x7”.
