Guide Review - Nikon CoolPix 3700 Digital Camera

The ultra compact design of this digital camera is the first feature to catch my eye. While most of the Nikon digital cameras are small, they tend to be thick, which makes them hard to carry in your pocket. This digital camera, however, is so compact it can easily be pocketed. The brushed metal body is elegant and rugged, yet lightweight.

For those looking for an easy to use digital camera, this will be a great choice. It’s point and shoot features make it easy to use, while its 256-segment matrix metering system insures that your images will be sharp and beautiful. For those of you that like to tweak the camera settings a little, but aren’t into complicated adjustments, there are 14 pre-set scene modes to choose from.

The high resolution Nikkor lens features not only a powerful zoom for bringing distant subjects closer, but the high quality glass and electronics team up to produce some of the sharpest and brightest images available from a 3 megapixel digital camera. It is advertised that this camera can produce print enlargements up to 11”x14”, and it can. However, if you are looking for photo lab quality prints, I would not go larger than 8”x10”.
