Would you like a chance to show off your digital photography, while at the same time helping others learn from your images? The Digital Photography Submission is a chance to share your photos (whether you be an amateur or a pro). These will be used in galleries of reader-submitted photos that will give everyone a chance to see specific camera's image quality from real shooters on the street.

You will get your own page on the site with the photo and links advertising any of your Web sites, Weblogs or Flickr sites. Best of all, it provides a gallery of images for everyone to peruse and enjoy.

The guidelines:

• Photos must be taken with a digital camera.
• Photos must be JPG format only, no more than 300 dpi and no larger than 500 by 500 pixels. If you are not sure how to resize your photos, see my step-by-step tutorial, "How to Resize Your Photos for Email or Web."
• You must have personally taken the photo and any people in the photo must give you permission to submit it. By submitting, you state this is your work and free of copyright elsewhere
• All photos submitted are the property of the photographer submitting them and may not be copied without their permission. Your About Digital Cameras guide asks for non-exclusive use of submissions for display on this site.

How To Submit Your Photo

Before you submit a photo read the About.com User Agreement, taking care to review item # 6 which explains that you are granting About.com rights to publish your photo.
