Several camera manufacturers offer great digital SLR (DSLR) cameras. For the most part, if you stick with well-known manufacturers, you'll be pleased with the quality of your digital SLR model.
It also is a good idea to look through digital camera reviews to find the best camera manufacturers. Those companies that consistently score high on digital camera reviews will give you the best chance of finding a top DSLR manufacturer.
Finally, check with friends and fellow photographers about which models they use and about which DSLR manufacturers they prefer. Find a photographer or two who has many of the same photography goals that you have, and then follow their advice regarding some of their favorite DSLR manufacturers.
