There are many shooting modes ideal for scenic and nature photography. The greenery mode produced rich images, but the foliage mode didn't make the fall colors pop like I would have liked. A floral photography mode made it quite simple to shoot pictures of flowers, and the colors for those images were quite vivid.
Speed of the Casio EX-Z77
The speed of shooting with the Casio was pretty impressive at this price level. Many cameras competing at this level can have slow responsiveness, but this camera got the shots quickly.There was very little shutter lag. Even pictures shot with the flash, while a little delayed, were certainly captures faster than on many compact cameras.
