Film Camera

Definition: A film camera is a type of camera that records photos using light-sensitive film. By comparison, a digital camera records photos using a light-sensitive processor. Digital camera information is stored in digital bits, while film camera information is stored on a physical piece of film.

Film cameras have been the primary type of camera almost since the invention of photography. However, among consumer-level photographers, digital cameras have rapidly grabbed the market lead from film cameras.
