Definition: A touch screen is a display screen on a digital camera that the photographer controls by touching the commands displayed on the LCD or AMOLED screen. Touch screen displays are growing in popularity on digital cameras. Some touch screen cameras remove all of the menu control buttons on the back panel of the camera, allowing full menu control through the touch screen.
With some cameras, you even can shoot photos using the touch screen, rather than using a shutter button.
