Cameraphone

By Kyle Schurman, About.com

Definition: A cameraphone is a cellular phone that also includes the capability to capture digital still images and digital video.

Most newer cell phones are cameraphones because they offer the ability to capture digital images and video. However, most cameraphones cannot match the quality and feature set found in even the most low-end digital cameras. Because of the lack of features and high-end image quality, cameraphones generally are not considered digital cameras.
